Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983 by the Bollati Family, Davines Group started as a research laboratory, producing high-end hair care products for renowned cosmetic companies worldwide. After a decade of honing our expertise, we began creating our own brand of Davines hair care products exclusively for salons, and in 1996 founded [ comfort zone ] skin care for premier spas.

Our mission is to share these sweet but simple everyday jewelry pieces.
The adventure began with my interest for effortless style and delicate jewelry designs. I love simple accessories that can be versatile for any occasion. Jewelry that is easy to wear but can be notable in any situation.
I have always received compliments on my simplistic jewelry and design, therefore, I decided to share this style with other like-minded jewelry lovers.
Each piece displayed on our site is custom and handmade by me personally. As a result, no two pieces are exactly alike.
I hope you love and show off these pieces as much as I love making it.

Back in the 1970's, a young man named Dick Hayne planted a seed in the maze of streets and trees that make up West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He opened a store and called it Free People. Free People nurtured the young people who lived there and shopped there, who looked for a little of their own freedom in the clothes they wore.
As Dick's store grew from one to two, the name was changed from Free People to Urban Outfitters.
In time, his wife Meg came on to tend Urban's private label division, which supported product exclusive to Urban Outfitters. Demand was almost immediate and to meet this overwhelming need, she and Dick decided to create a wholesale line. It was very well-received, so much so that Dick separated the businesses. For a while, the wholesale line took on many personalities: Bulldog, Ecote, Cooperative, Anthropologie, and then in 1984 a new life was breathed into the name Free People. And that's us.
During 2001, we realized that it was really Free People that invoked some of our favourite images, those of femininity, courage, and spirit. It was time to get back to our roots.
Free People shed its junior image and evolved into a more mature, contemporary brand. This allowed twenty-something women to appreciate the line of clothing that catered to their intelligence, creativity and individuality, while keeping with its great quality and affordability.

Hi there, my name is Cara Piper and I am the owner and creative mind behind beck+bean.
I have always loved clothing and fashion, and upon graduating high school I was accepted into a fashion design program in Vancouver, Canada. Being just 17 years old, I did not feel ready to leave home, so I decided to pursue a degree in Art History at the University of Saskatchewan.
Soon after my first son was born I realized how difficult it was to find quality clothing. It quickly became apparent that little ones on-the-move need clothing that is comfortable, durable, and moves with them easily. I'm a stickler for a proper fit, so I decided that the easiest way to achieve that was to make his clothing. It wasn't until our second son was born that my vision to create beck+bean became a reality.
Since launching in 2016, beck+bean has grown from selling strictly online to being available in retail stores across Western Canada. I take pride in knowing that each and every item is still handmade in Saskatoon, Canada. I hope you and your littles love beck+bean as much as me and mine.
